The Real Conference

People Working in Open Office

OUR AIM: To Make a Conference that's Educational, Inspiring and Entertaining

This conference is different. On purpose.

Time is the most valuable resource we have. So we’re not here to waste yours.

As you’d expect from the Real Cyber Awards, we’re building a conference that deliberately breaks the usual mould.

No recycled talks

No buzzword bingo

No thinly veiled sales pitches.

This is a conference built by the community, for the community.
And that means shining a light on the topics most events quietly skip… even though they’re the ones people actually need help with.

We’re creating a high-standard event with real intent.

We care deeply about:

  • Access – content you can actually use

  • Safety – psychologically safe spaces to
    ask real questions

  • Pacing – no endurance marathons, just
    focused, valuable sessions

In return? We’re offering something genuinely rare;  Less theory. More “here’s the template, the tools, and the techniques.”

Examples of real-world topics we’re covering:

🔐 Security on a budget - Practical, affordable steps that actually protect SMEs

🧱 Starting from nothing - How to implement security when there’s nothing in place — no team, no tools, no roadmap

🔥 Surviving an attack - How to prepare for the worst, respond under pressure, and come out the other side intact

Now over to you…

Do you have a topic others aren’t talking about but should be?

We’re inviting speakers who want to bring something original, practical, and honest to the stage.

👉 Press the button, and complete the form.

Tell us how you’ll bring your magic.... But we have two simple rules:

1️⃣ Your talk must be original — not delivered anywhere else
2️⃣ No sales pitches. Ever.

🎤 Talk length: 20 minutes (including Q&A)

Just enough time to deliver impact and leave people wanting more.

If you’ve got something real to share…
We want to hear from you.
